Materials: 10 water tubes, plastic, pictures, rocks and soil, light

Size: Height of tubes = 2.2m

Concept: To convey the issues derived from the drought that children in Phan Rang areas have to suffer, Hoang Ly has created a complex made of 10 red painted water tubes of 2.2m of height which rose up from dry soil, representing Thirst longing for Water. From each faucet comes a “transparent drop of water” which holds a picture of Phan Rang children seeking water, taken by The Phong. This drop of water is sparkling like a precious pearl carrying the radiant smiles of children who keep their joy going on in spite of their difficult life.
